Level II Training |
When a person practices the form and precepts learned in Level I Training in The Usui System of Reiki Healing for at least 100 days, and feels drawn to pursue a deeper connection with this system, s/he may enter Level II Training. This may occur in conjunction with scheduled classes or may be arranged privately with the Master. In this training, a person spends some time discussing with the Master his/her experiences with The Usui System of Reiki Healing since the Level I Training, and reviews any of the forms and principles that may seem necessary. A person is then presented with three symbolic patterns which were recognized by Mikao Usui as being important to the furthering of the healing practice of this system. After time spent in contemplating these symbols, in committing them to memory, and in demonstrating knowledge of the forms of the symbols to the Master, s/he participates in another initiatory ceremony which further enhances his/her abilities to interact with the universal energy field and empowers him/her to learn and practice the disciplines taught in Level II Training. A person is then taught how the symbols are used in The Usui System of Reiki Healing. S/he is taught the forms and disciplines for sending a distant healing treatment and for furthering the mental, spiritual and emotional healing process for him/herself and for other persons. After Level II Training, a person is encouraged to practice the forms, principles, and precepts of The Usui System of Reiki Healing in daily life, to meet together with other similarly trained persons to exchange treatments and share experiences, and to maintain contact with the Master in the event that questions arise.
